Dealing With Disease of Discouragement
Definition of disease: 1. A disorder of structure or function in a human, animal, or plant, esp. one that produces specific signs or symptoms or that affects a... 2. A particular quality, habit, or disposition regarded as adversely affecting a person or group of people.
Let me say that physical disease is a worse condition that discouragement. A Dis-ease is a disturbance in your life whether in spirit, soul or body.

Reasons for discouragement:
1. Unmet Expectations (Are your expectations reasonable or Unreasonable?)
2. Cognitive dissonance: People tend to seek consistency in their beliefs and perceptions. So what happens when one of our beliefs conflicts with another previously held belief? The term cognitive dissonance is used to describe the feeling of discomfort that results from holding two conflicting beliefs. When there is a discrepancy between beliefs and behaviors, something must change in order to eliminate or reduce the dissonance.
